Our story
It began with our own buildings.
Fourteen apartments in Plauen, renovated between 2019 and 2023 and rented ever since — a project we began with our own capital, years before there was a company. This is how Klardenkmal came to be.

Chapter 01
Before the company, there were buildings.
In 2019 — four years before Klardenkmal existed as a company — we bought our first buildings in Plauen, as private individuals, with our own money.
We took the standard route: we hired construction firms. The first two did not meet the standard the work demanded. And there was a second gap we did not yet see: knowing how to run a real estate development — the planning, the engineering, the sequence — is its own discipline, separate from the building itself. We were short on both. We learned both on our own project, at our own cost.
Chapter 02
We closed both gaps, with the right people.
The execution gap we closed with master craftsman Radu Rednic — in construction since 1996, leading teams of up to 60 people, and on German sites since 2018. Together with him, we have grown a construction team from a handful of craftsmen to eighteen today, around a stable core that has been with us for years — all in permanent employment, rather than labour assembled for a project and dissolved after it.
The organisation gap we closed with architect Dan Gornivoceanu — 40 years in real estate development, as an architect and site manager, in Romania and Germany. He worked alongside us from the beginning, from Reusaer Straße onward, on project management, engineering and architecture. Radu's team builds; Dan is how we learned to run a real estate development properly. He remains a collaborating architect and construction-operations consultant with us today.

Chapter 03
Fourteen apartments, rented since 2023.
Reusaer Straße 101 · 103 · 105 — three buildings, fourteen apartments, renovated between 2019 and 2023 by this team, developed and financed by us personally. They have been rented, and generating rental income, ever since.
Reusaer is not a monument-protected property; it is a standard renovation. It is where we learned the full development cycle on our own capital — acquisition, planning, construction, renting, management. The monument projects that followed stand on that foundation.

Chapter 04
Then we incorporated what we had learned.
In 2023 we founded Kraftmar GmbH — the company behind Klardenkmal. On every project, the building is acquired in full before a single apartment is sold, and Kraftmar GmbH acts as property developer (Bauträger) and general contractor. Our team builds under its direct management.
For the buyer, this means one partner responsible for the development and the build, and one point of contact throughout. Responsibility does not pass along a chain of companies — it stays with us.

Chapter 05
While we prepared the next projects, the team kept building.
Monument development begins long before construction: acquisition, planning, approvals. While we worked through that cycle for the next projects — IKLE & REIS and the Oberlosa Rittergut — our construction team did not stand still. It worked for partners and other clients across the German market, and delivered more than 100 units in that period — apartments and several single-family houses, monument-protected and standard alike.
The projects we are building now stand on that uninterrupted practice.
